Twitter Trivia with a Twist!

One really exciting thing we have been doing at Love, Loss, and What I Wore is Twitter Trivia. Almost every day, we tweet out trivia questions to give our followers a chance to win free tickets to the show. It all started with the 200th show in March when we played Twenty Questions with our followers on Twitter. So many people played and wanted more so we decided to make trivia a daily occurrence.

The rules are really simple: whoever submits the correct response first wins. Because each player can win once per cast, we have many loyal followers who play every month. Many Love, Loss fans come to see the show for every cast, like @bn2007 who comes all the way from Maine each month.

The trivia questions cover everything from the actors’ credits to facts about the show itself. Sometimes we even ask the actors for facts about themselves that we can make into trivia questions. For example, we found out that Melissa Joan Hart used to race cars, so we made that a question. Rachael Harris wrote one herself saying, “I played Melissa in The Hangover - was Melissa Stu’s wife, fiancĂ©e, or girlfriend?” Cobie Smulders challenged the players with “What is Cobie - as in Cobie Smulders - short for?”

Often, we do trivia marathons during which we ask tons of questions in one day, like during the Tony Awards when all of the questions were Tony-themed, in order to give many players the chance to win.

In September, we want to take Twitter trivia one step further. We will be giving all of the past Love, Loss trivia winners (and there are over 200) the chance to submit their own questions for trivia. So start playing now for a chance to win tickets to see Love, Loss, and What I Wore!
